(or CLEMENT): (8 Mar 1923, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Death of Mrs. Clement. Word has just been received that Mrs. G. T. Clement of Texola had died at the home of her mother Mrs. McNown in Raton, N.M., Mrs. Clement had suffered a severe attack of flu during the recent epidemic and had been taken to New Mexico in hopes that the change of climate would benefit her, but was too weak to overcome the effects of the long trip. Her remains are being brought to Texola where she will be buried. Mrs. Clement has been a teacher in the Texola schools for many years and is well and favorably known throughout the whole county. She leaves her husband G. T. Clement and little daughter, Cathrine, her mother, Mrs. Susan McNown and a brother and sister to mourn her loss. (15 Mar 1923, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Mrs. Geo. Clements Dead. Last week word was received here that Mrs. Geo. Clements, who lives in Texola, but who has been teaching school in New Mexico, had died of pneumonia. The remains were shipped to Texola last Thursday and interment was made in the Texola cemetery Friday. Mrs. Clements was well known here and the news of her death came as a shock to her many friends. CLEMENTS, ROBERT ELLIS (28 Feb 1929, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Robert Ellis Clements was born in Arkansas Feb. 18, 1879. Died Feb. 25, 1929, age 50 years, 7 days. Funeral services were held at the Ural Baptist church at 2:j00 p.m., Rev. Crane officiating. Interment in Ural cemetery.
