COBERLY, JANE ANN
(13 Mar 1919, Thursday, Southwest Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Spring
Creek News:
Grandma Coberly, formerly of this community, who has been living with her
son in Missouri, died there last Friday.  Her body was shipped here and
funeral held at Doxey-Sayre cemetery Sunday afternoon.  A large crowd
attended.  Mrs. Coberly was the mother of our Mrs. M. F. Wilson and Mrs.
J. W. Stout.  She was 82 years old and leaves seven children and a large
number of grand children and great grand children to mourn her death.  The
bereaved ones have the heartfelt sympathy of the community.  Dear ones,
weep not, for "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, from
henceforth: yea, saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labors:
and their works do follow them." Rev. 13-14.
