(19 Feb 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Funeral services were held for W. T. Coleman, 72, pioneer settler near Elk City, Monday afternoon in the First Christian church at Lexington, it was learned here today. Mr. Coleman settled on a farm near here with his family some twenty years ago and lived here until eight years ago when he moved to Oklahoma City. Mr. Coleman has been in ill health for the past three years and has been an invalid for the past three months. He died at his home in Oklahoma City Saturday evening. Surviving Mr. Coleman are his widow, Mrs. Coleman; three daughters, Mrs. Mavis Johnson, of Duncan; Mrs. Clyde Chambers, of Altus, and Mrs. Ewart Miller, of Oklahoma City; and one son, Ray Coleman of Union City.
