CONNER, NORA LEE
(25 Oct 1928, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Funeral services were conducted for Mattie Lee North Conner, age 55 years
and 5 months, Monday afternoon at her home in Elk City.  Rev. Carl V.
Covey, pastor of the First Christian church, officiated.  Burial was made
at Fairlawn cemetery.  Grubitz & Son were in charge of funeral
arrangements.
The deceased was born in Shreveport, La., on May 23, 1878.  She was
married to H. T. Conner, March 26, 1896, at Wylie, Texas.
Those who survive her are her husband, eight children and one sister. 
Children are, Earnest M. Hill of California; Rex L. Hill, Mrs. Cecil
Wimpy, of Port; George Conner, Mrs. Violet Dyer, Borger, Texas; Mrs.
Birdie Vaughn, St. Louis, Okla.; Homer Conner, Borger, Texas and Mrs. Opal
Allensworth of Oregon.  Her sister is Mrs. Bee Duckworth of Indiahoma,
Okla.
