A. J. COPENHAVER A. J. "Jeff" COPENHAVER, 93, died Wednesday in Sayre Memorial Hospital. Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Sayre Church of Christ with Eddie Beard and Albert Warnken officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak cemetery under direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Mr. COPENHAVER, son of William and Martha COPENHAVER, was born April 3, 1896 in Troy, Missouri. He moved with his parents to western Oklahoma at the turn of the century. He grew up around the Bulo community. He married Ada Alma RICHARDSON May 29, 1914 at Mayfield, Okla. They lived and farmed in the Bulo community until moving to Sayre in Dec. 1960. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, and one grandson. Survivors are: one daughter, Clella MYERS of Sayre; one son, Lee COPENHAVER, Sayre; 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and one brother, George COPENHAVER of Denver, Col.; one sister, Ollie SITES, Sayre.
