Resident of County for 18 Years Dies After Short Illness. Funeral services for Mrs. Allie Davis Currier, wife of F. C. Currier, farmer near Leedey, were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Carter cemetery. Mrs. Currier had been ill for the past two weeks and was brought to a city hospital a week ago. Mrs. Currier was born July 26, 1893, near Chickasha where she was reared. She was married to F. C. Currier, March 17, 1912 and came to live on a farm near Carter where they lived until two years ago when the family moved to their present home southwest of Leedey. She has been a member of the First Christian church since a young lady and for a number of years was an active worker in the organization. Immediate members of the family surviving Mrs. Currier are her husband, Mr. Currier and six children, three sons and three daughters. They are: Misses Cassie, Marie and Mary Ann and Claud J., Paul and Seth. Others surviving are her father, E. J. Davis, of Canyon City, Tex., and two sisters and six brothers. Interment was made in the Carter cemetery. Killough-Hullum, funeral directors, were in charge. (14 Apr 1930, Monday, Sayre Headlight, Sayre, Beckham Co, OK): Funeral Service Was Held For Allie Currier. Allie Currier died in Elk City Friday April 4 at the age of 36 years and several months. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Carter cemetery. Rev. C. C. Williams, pastor of the Methodist church officiated at the funeral.
