DAVIDSON, BEATRICE
(Jul 1992, Elk City Daily News, Elk City, Beckham Co, Ok):
Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Davidson, 96 year old Weatherford
resident, will be held at the First Baptist Church in Cheyenne at 10:30
a.m. on Friday.  Burial will be in the Cheyenne Cemetery under the
direction of the Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford.
Mrs. Davidson was born July 25, 1895 at Morgan Texas and died at
Southwestern Memorial Hospital in Weatherford Tuesday July 21.  She was
raised in Morgan, Texas, also attended schools in the area.  She married
Ernest Marion Davidson on July 29, 1930, at Altus.  They made their home
in Beckham and Roger Mills County, living in Carter and Crawford
communities where they were active in farming.  After retirement they
moved to Elk City where they resided for some 20 years.  Mr. Davidson
preceded her in death on Sept 22, 1975.  Beatrice moved to Weatherford in
1991 and was a resident of Little Bird Nursing Home until death.  She
attended the First Baptist Church of Carter.
Survived by 1 son, Marion, and wife Delores, Weatherford; 2 daughters,
Lila Muriel Beaty and husband, A. F., Cheyenne, and Dorsie Maye Hansen and
her husband, Elk City; 8 grandchildren, 16 great, 1 great-great; 1
brother, Mark Robinson, Springdale, Ar; 4 sisters, Effie Broddrick, Grass
Valley, Ca; Violet Brayfield, San Francisco; Gladys Tabor, Oak Ridge Ore;
Ruth Tindell, Carter.  Preceded in death by parents William Riley and
Mintie A. Robinson; husband, 3 brothers, Homer, Frank and Joe; 2
grandchildren, Robert Davidson and Sheryl Hall.
