DAVIS, DANIEL
(11 Jan 1917, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF DANIEL DAVIS.
Daniel Davis, who came here on December 17th to visit his daughter, Mrs.
Belknap, died Tuesday night at 10 o'clock of gastrites (sic).  The body
was taken to the undertaking parlors of Grubitz & Son and prepared for
shipment to Conway, Mo., where he will be buried, by his wife who died 22
years ago.  The deceased was born in Pennsylvania county, Virginia,
February 4th, 1831, and would have been 86 years old next month.  He
leaves three daughters and one son.
