(21 Aug 1919, Thursday, Southwest Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Mrs. Maggie Dabano died of paralysis at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Goehring, on West Broadway, Friday, August 15. Age 71 years, and 20 days. Deceased was a good Christian woman and a member of the M. E. Church South. Besides her daughter, she leaves one son, A. W. Hauck, of Oklahoma City, was also present at the funeral. Services were conducted at the residence Saturday, August 16, by Rev. J. W. Trevette. Interment was in Fairlawn cemetery. (Other notes) Mrs. A. W. Hauck and baby, who came to attend the funeral of the former's mother, Mrs. Maggie Dabano, returned to their home at Oklahoma City Tuesday. (21 Aug 1919, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): MOTHER DIES. Mrs. Maggie Debano, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. Goehring, Sr., at 5:30 Friday morning, aged 71 years and 20 days. She was born in Baden, Germany. For a number of years she has made her home with Mrs. Goehring, who with a son, A. W. Hauck, of Oklahoma City, are the surviving children. The funeral services were held at the home at 5:30 o'clock Saturday evening, conducted by Rev. Trevette. Interment was made at the Fairlawn cemetery, under the directions of M. Chandler, and the body of the dear old mother was laid to rest. She will be sadly missed by her loved ones, who gave her every care and attention.
