   IDA MAE DeFORE, 73, died September 19, 1983, after a long illness in
   Palestine, Texas. Member of Woodland Baptist Church, Houston, Texas.
   Retired from the Harris County Tax Office. Survivors: Son, Robert
   DeFORE, Waco; daughters, Marjorie MYERS and Barbara DUNCAN, Palestine;
   Joan GARVEY and Ann MILES, Houston; daughter-in-law, Maggie DeFORE and
   sons-in-law Charles MYERS and Jack MILES, eleven grandchildren, Cheryl
   THORNTON, Tina DUNCAN, Jo Dee DUNCAN, Billy DUNCAN, Alan DUNCAN,
   Donald MYERS, Wanda MYERS, Doris Ann DeFORE, Bobby DeFORE, Raymond
   DeFORE, and Steven GARVEY; three great-grandchildren, Sara THORNTON,
   Donald MYERS and Caleb CARROUTHERS; brother, Edgar Self of California;
   sister, Pat Ketterman(Kitterman) of California. Services will be held
   at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Waltrip Chapel. Grandsons to serve as
   pallbearers. Waltrip Funeral directors.

   Burial: Memorial Oaks Cem. Houston, TX
   Daughter of Hiram A. SELF and Bertha M. (McWILLIAMS) SELF of Elk City,
   Beckham Co., OK
