The little one was permitted to stay but so short a visit with the loving parents, to whose hearts he was so dear. The sorrowing parents have the sincere sympathy of a host of friends and neighbors at Delhi, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Boughno of Elk City, and the sorrowing relatives who were present to share the grief of Joe and Callie, and to offer comfort to them in this their greatest loss, alike have the sympathy and respect of all neighbors and friends in this sorrow. The funeral services were held by Rev. Graham of Delhi Methodist Church, and the song service was conducted by Mrs. E. F. Thompson. God doeth all things well, so dear friends do not grieve, for you little one's in Heaven, where there is no sin to commit and none to be forgiven. By a Friend. --------------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.htm
