DILLINGHAM, J. T. (31 Oct 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): J. T. DILLINGHAM DEAD. Many of our citizens will remember J. T. Dillingham, who worked for the Rock Island for two years in Elk City, and will regret to learn of his death at Salida, Colo., on the 19th. In a letter from his daughter, Mrs. Winfrey Keen, 715 East street, Salida, Colo., she says they have all had the Spanish influenza, and Mrs. Baker (who was in the El Reno hospital the same time Aunt Alice was), has been very sick. Mrs. Keen also says "We are always glad to get the paper, but so sorry to hear of so many of our dear friends passing away. Little Gwendolyn now is two years and two months old and is such a sweet child." A clipping from the Salida paper gives the following notice of Mr. Dillingham's death: J. T. They spent the first two years of their married life in Salida. After that they spent the greater part of their time in Oklahoma, until two years ago, when they removed Salida.
