DILLON, CYNTHIA JANE
(25 Jan 1923, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF MRS. DILLON.
Cynthia Jane Dillon was born November 14, 1845, died at her home in
Canute, January 16, 1923.  Age 77 years, 2 months and 2 days.  She had
been an invalid for the past three years, but always bore her sufferings
with great patience, looking to him who doeth all things well.  She was a
member of the Methodist church, having joined in her girlhood days.  She
leaves to mourn her loss, a nephew, L. E. Willcoxson, of near Doxey, also
a number of great-nephews and nieces.  Funeral services were held at the
Merritt church. Interment made in the Merritt cemetery.

We take this means of thanking our many friends and neighbors who so
kindly assisted us during the illness and death of our beloved aunt and
especially do we thank the many friends of Canute who did all that loving
hands could do to relieve her suffering.  Words cannot express our
appreciation of your kindness, may God's richest blessings rest on each
and every (one) of you.
