W. Dix, formerly Mrs. M. L. Cox, who at one time had a boarding house in Elk City, died of malaria in the hospital at McAlister, the last of the week and her body was brought to this place to be laid by the side of her former husband, Mr. Cox, who is buried in East Fairlawn cemetery. The remains were accompanied by her brother, J. W. Savage, of Everest, Kansas, and Mrs. A. G. Shiers and George Powell of El Reno, and taken to Grubitz & Son Undertaking Parlors. The funeral was held Monday at one o'clock, P.M., conducted by Rev.
