DUNCAN, SUSIE
(15 Jul 1909, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Hix Duncan.  We are grieved to learn of the illness and death of the
esteemable wife of our long time friend of Hix Duncan of Rhome.  It seems
that but a short time since she fell on the door step and received
internal injuries from which she succumbed, notwithstanding all that human
hands and loving hearts could do.  She was well liked by every one who
knew her.  She left a large family of children who with her husband will
greatly miss her.  We extend our sympathies to the stricken family.
