DUREE, FINIS PEARL
(13 May 1926, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Finis Pearl Duree, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Duree, was born February
20th, 1915, died May 8, 1926, age 11 years, 2 months and 18 days.  He took
sick on Thursday and operated on Monday for appendicitis.  All was done
that could be done to relieve his suffering.  He leaves to mourn his loss
his father, mother, three brothers and one sister besides a host of
relatives and friends.
Funeral services was held May the 9th, at Broadway Methodist Church,
conducted by Rev. Newman, assisted by Pastor E. C. Webb.  The remains were
laid to rest in the West Fairlawn Cemetery.

We wish to thank our many friends and neighbors, especially Miss Music,
the nurses, Miss Wayland, Miss Miller and Miss York and Dr. Standifer for
the kindness and sympathy during the sickness and death of our boy.  Mr.
and Mrs. A. A. Duree and family.
