OK ELIZABETH ANN EASTERLY Posted by Joan (DeFore) Garvey for Elk City Library Elk City Paper, Beckham Co., OK December 22, 1948 ELIZABETH ANN EASTERLY Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 p. m. at the Martin-Hullum funeral chapel for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann EASTERLY, who died in her home at 903 West Ave. D. today after a two weeks' illness. Mrs. EASTERLY was born on November 13, 1858 at Fayetteville, Ga., and was married on April 24, 1875, to Samuel A. EASTERLY, who preceded her in death on February 29, 1908. Mr. and Mrs. EASTERLY moved to Beckham county and homesteaded a farm in the Belleview community in the year 1900. She has lived near Elk City most of her life. She became a member of the Prairie View Baptist church in 1919. She is survived by four children, Curtis and M. H. EASTERLY, Elk City, Mrs. Belle BARNHART, Oklahoma City, and Artie EASTERLY, Dobbins, Calif. One son, Claude, preceded her in death. Rev. Horace L. JANES, pastor of the local First Baptist church, will officiate at the last rites. Interment will be made in the Belleview cemetery. Martin-Hullum are the funeral directors in charge of arrangements.
