Katie McNac EDMUNDSON was born July 9, 1905 in Salem, Oklahoma to Phillip and Wisey McNAC. She spent the earliest part of her life in Henryetta, OK where, at an early age, she became a member of the Hickory Ground Baptist Church #2. Katie met and married James EDMUNDSON on December 24, 1920 and to this union 13 children were born in McIntosh County. The family moved to Clinton, OK in 1949 and later moved to Elk City in 1958. Mrs. EDMUNDSON attended the Grace Temple Christ Holy Sanctified Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, 7 daughters and 1 son. Mrs. EDMUNDSON leaves to mourn her, 1 sister, Mollie WASHINGTON of Clinton, OK; 4 daughters, Milly HARRIS, Mary SMITH, Mamie WATKINS and Sallie EDMUNDSON, all of Elk City, OK; 1 stepdaughter, Joan HESTER of Clinton, OK, 1 son, James Levi EDMUNDSON of Bristow, OK, 46 grandchildren, 101 great grandchildren, 35 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
