ELLIOT, FRANCES
(22 Mar 1911, Wednesday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
The angel of death has again visited this community of Pixlee and claimed
as its victim the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Elliot, aged nine years.
Frances was only sick a few days when God in his infinite wisdom saw fit
to remove her from this earth and to transplant her in that beautiful home
above.  Frances possessed a loving, sunny disposition, and to know her was
to love her.  We feel sure that death to her was the commencement of
eternal bliss.  She was an earnest little worker at school, loved by all
her playmates and teacher.  Oh! how we will miss her.  Her chair is empty
by the fireside and aching hearts will sigh for the merry childish
laughter that made home so loving and bright.  Her voice will never more
be heard on earth, but it will ring only the clearer and sweeter in her
new home in heave.
May the prospects of a blissful reunion, cheer the hearts of the bereaved
family and lead them to look up and rejoice, for there "where we shall
know as we are known" - Will they behold their darling Frances clothed in
a robe of spotless purity.  There to reunite with her in the song of
triumph through everlasting life unto Him who sitteth (sic) on the Throne.
