ELLIS, HERBERT
(15 Mar 1905, Roger Mills Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Death of Dr. Ellis.
Dr. Herbert Ellis of this place died at the hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. 
He was taking a course in hospital practice after graduating at a medical
college.  The cause of his death was an operation for appendicitis.  For
some reason the message sent from the hospital to the parents was delayed
after being received here, and the parents were not able to get to
Cincinnati before their son died.  Herbert Ellis was well known in this
city, was respected by all and his many friends are sad because he was
taken so early in life from what seemed to be a bright progress and
successful future.
(16 Mar 1905, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Death.  Dr. Herbet (sic) Ellis, son of N. W. Ellis of Elk City, died at
Cincinnati Ohio, last week of appendicitis.  Mr. Ellis was well known in
Elk, being a member of the J. O. of O. F. Lodge here.  Many friends mourn
over his loss and extend their sympathies to his parents.
