EVANS Funeral services for Robert C. EVANS will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home. Mr. EVANS was born July 26, 1913 in Otto, Texas and died Tuesday at the age of 77. He came to Shamrock, Texas from Dallas County in 1926 with his family. In 1927 they moved to Texas. When he was 16 years of age he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he lived until 1956. He then moved to Shamrock where he operated a cafe. In 1958 he moved to Elk City where he had lived since. Survivors include four children: Charles and Clifford, EVANS, both of California, Mary BAILEY of Los Angeles, Calif., and Robert Earl EVANS of Oklahoma City; seven brothers and sisters: C. E. EVANS, Willis EVANS, Dorothy SHERIDAN, and Benny EVANS, all of Elk City; Marie WATKINS of Erick, Willie SHAVER of Sacrament(o), Calif., and Johnnie EVANS of Arlington, Texas.
