EVANS, ELLA E.
(8 Jul 1920, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
GIRL DIES.  Ellen Evans twelve year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Evans living two miles north of Carter died yesterday evening at a local
hospital.  She underwent an operation for appendicitis on Monday.  The
body was taken to Grubitz & Son and prepared for burial, and funeral
services will be held this afternoon.  This is the first death in a family
of nine children.  The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all in their
deep sorrow.
(9 Jul 1920, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  Just as we go to press we learn that Ella, the young daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Evans, residing west of Carter, died at Elk City on
Wednesday.  She had been suffering with appendicitis and was carried to
Elk City where she underwent an operation but which failed to give any
relief.  Her body was brought back to Carter yesterday morning for
interment in the Carter cemetery.
