Farmer was born in Benton Co., Tenn. Nov. 3, 1864, departed this life July 14, 1930, age 65 years, 8 months and 11 days. He was married to Mrs. Mary Elliott in 1884, and came to Oklahoma in 1900. He was baptized into the church of Christ by Bro. Geo. Douglass in 1893. He lived a faithful and devoted Christian life until the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his going, his wife Mrs. Mary Farmer, one son, Ollie H. Farmer of Muskogee, Okla., and two step-children, Mrs. S. M. Elliott and J. H. Merritt of Crawford, Okla., also three brothers, R. L. Farmer of Camden, Tenn., J. N. Farmer of Faxon, Tenn., and Frank Farmer of Hamburg, La., with a host of other relatives and friends. His wife has lost a true companion, his friends and church a loyal and devoted friend for he was ever ready to render his time and services to others. May God's richest blessings be with the bereaved wife and children in this dark hour, also the brother, R. L. Farmer and daughter, Camden, Tenn., who attended the funeral. Services were conducted by Bro.
