FARRELL, RUTHIE F.
(26 Nov. 1929, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Funeral rites were read for Mrs. J. F. Farrell, at 3 o'clock Sunday
afternoon, in the Church of God with the Rev. C. S. Moad, officiating.
Mrs. Farrel (sic) died at her home north of the city Saturday after an
illness of six weeks.  She had been in a local hospital four weeks of that
time, and held (had) recently been moved to her home.
She was born February 3, 1892, in Texas.  She was married to J. F. Farrell
in 1913 and lived in Sayre, until five years ago, when they moved to the
farm, where they were living at the time of Mrs. Farrell's death.
Mrs. Farrell was converted and became a member of the Church of God in Elk
City three years ago, her pastor recalled.
She is survived by her husband, J. F. Farrell, four sons, Fabais, Dale, J.
F., and Jack, and two daughters, Miss Nova and Miss Betty Frances, with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wright, of Strong City.
Interment was made in the Fairlawn Cemetery.  Gentry-Killough, funeral
directors, in charge.
