T. FERGASON DEAD. Wm. T. Fergason was born in Fayette County, Indiana, June 3rd, 1844 and died June 22nd, 1917, at Supply, Okla. The body was brought to Elk City Sunday, and funeral services were held at 4:30 o'clock at the Grandview school house, conducted by Rev. Houck. The building was not large enough to hold the people in attendance, and a large crowd stood outside. Grandpa and Grandma Fergason had lived in that neighborhood for four years and had made many friends. Mr. Fergason has been sick for many months and his death was not unexpected. Special songs were sung by the Grandview people at the school house and also at the Grandview cemetery where the remains were laid to rest under the direction of Grubitz & Son. The deceased came from Perry, Mo., to Oklahoma and a daughter, Mrs. Jamie A. Jackson lives there at the present time, who with H. L. Fergason, a son, living in the Grandview neighborhood, Mrs. Fergason, the aged wife, also two brothers, D. C. and John Fergason and a sister, Mrs. J. C. Adams of Kirksville, Mo., are left to mourn his departure.
