FIX, JEAN
(24 Jul 1924, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
TWINS BORN, ONE PASSED AWAY.
Twins, a little boy and girl were born to Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Fix on
Sunday night, July 20th.  They were named Jean and Eugene.
On Monday the little boy, Eugene, passed away, and funeral services were
held Tuesday morning at the Fairlawn Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Walter. 
The mother and little Jean are getting along nicely.

BABY GIRL DIES.
Little Jean, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Fix died last Saturday,
August 2nd, aged thirteen days.
Funeral services for Baby Jean were held at Fairlawn Cemetery, conducted
by Rev. Walter, who made a very comforting talk.  Members of the First M.
E. Church sang a couple of songs.  Beautiful flowers covered the little
casket and the little form was laid to rest by the side of little Eugene,
her twin brother, who passed away when one day old.  A large crowd of
sympathizing friends were present to offer showing the love and respect
they had for the young parents.
A host of friends, join with the News Democrat in extending Mr. and Mrs.
Fix their deepest sympathy.

and sympathy extended during the illness and death of our little babes,
and in our hours of sorrow.
