FRANCIS, PEARL
(24 Oct 1907, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
The sad news came Tuesday of the death of Pearl Francis, youngest daughter
of W. P. Francis.  She was visiting her sister in New Orleans, caught the
fever and although thought to be recovering she suddenly passed away
Tuesday.  Miss Pearl was loved by all who knew her, she had a beautiful
disposition and made hundreds of friends.  All who knew her mourn her
demise and extend deep sympathy to the family.  It seems that those the
world love best are taken first.  The body arrived this morning and will
be buried today in the Ural cemetery.
