He was married to Martha Ellen Armstrong, September 5th, 1902 at Perry, Okla. To this union two children were born, Ora J. and Magnolia Alice. Besides his family one brother, John Gannon and family and other relatives and friends are left to mourn his loss. Many years ago he made his peace with God and in later years united with the Christian Union Church, near his home, and lived a consistent christian life. The children have lost a loving father, the wife a faithful husband, the community a good neighbor and faithful christian. He was conscious of his condition and told his companion he would soon be at home where there would be no more pain or sorrow. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. P. F. Meek, of Milo Iowa who was an old Missouri friend, and was largely attended by his friends and neighbors. Interment was made in Grandview cemetery. Peace to his sleeping dust and many God's blessings rest upon his family.
