GARRETT, ANDREW JACKSON
(25 Oct 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
PIONEER RESIDENT DIES SUDDENLY.
Funeral Services for A. J. Garrett Will be Held Here Monday.
Funeral services for A. J. Garrett, 65, will be held at the First
Christian Church, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the pastor Rev.
Carl C. Covey officiating.
Mr. Garrett died suddenly Friday.  He has resided in this community for 23
years.  Immediate members of the family surviving Mr. Garrett are his
widow, Mrs. A. J. Garrett and two children, a daughter, Mrs. Bernice
Baxter and son Hugh Garrett.
Interment will be made in the Fairlawn cemetery.  Grubitz and Son funeral
directors are in charge of arrangements.
