GATES, WILLA DENE
(3 Feb 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
OBITUARY.  A priceless possession, a darling baby, Willodene (sic),
beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gates, passed away at a hospital in
Elk City about midnight January 22, 1927.  Willodene was born at Elk City,
Oklahoma, April 17, 1926, and was aged nine months and five days.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Nazarene church, Rev.
Gale from Ural spoke comforting words to the bereaved.  The precious babe
leaves to mourn her loss father and mother, three sisters, numerous
relatives and friends.  Burial at Fairlawn cemetery.
