Roger Mills News:
Another beautiful life came to an untimely end when Mrs. Homer Gathing of
Sour Dough creek died of twenty-four hours of pneumonia, Thursday morning,
Feb. 8.  The deceased formerly Beulah Simms grew from childhood to
womanhood on Dead Indian where she was married about two years ago to
Homer Gathing.  Her devotion to an aged mother until the mother's death,
made her beloved by all who knew her.  She was buried Thursday in the
Strong City cemetery, thus leaving a disconsolate husband, a motherless
babe, a drooping father, four brothers and one sister, Mrs. Jake Ivy of
Cheyenne.  The departed was the tender age of 23.
