C. Glasgow's Rites Monday. Funeral services for Drayton Clark Glasgow, 802 W. Broadway, will be conducted from the Savage Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, with the Rev. Jack Atkinson officiating. Internment will be in Fairlawn cemetery. Mr. Glasgow was born June 5, 1897, in Texas, and died Friday morning, April 20, in Sayre Memorial Hospital. He was married to Flora Glasgow in May of 1917 in Elk City and he had served as county road supervisor while living in Elk City. In 1947 the couple moved to California, moving back to Elk City in June of 1971. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a veteran of WWI. Survivors include his wife of the home, 3 daughters, Ozell Wickard of Sayre, Voncille Anderson of Oildale, Calif., and Clariene Haggard of Elk City; 1 son, Drayton L. Glasgow of Southgate, Calif.; 4 sisters, Willa Caughron of Phoenix, Ariz., Anna Mae Nabors of Carmichael, Calif., Alta Marshall of Portales, NM, and Nell Haughton of Alameda, Calif.; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
