GLASGOW, FLORA MAY

Flora May Glasgow.
Funeral services for Flora Glasgow will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the
Savage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean Miller officiating.
Flora May Hankins was born May 18, 1901, the daughter of Robert A. and
Susan (Adkins) Hankins, and died Feb. 6, 1989 in the Sayre Memorial
Hospital at the age of 87.
Flora Hankins married Drayton Glasgow on May 19, 1917, in Sayre, and he
preceded her in death on April 20, 1973.  She and her husband lived in
California for 25 years before returning to Elk City in 1971.  Mrs.
Glasgow had been in Town Hall Estates nursing home in Sayre since 1983. 
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Ozell Wickard of Sayre, Clariene
Haggard of Elk City, and Voncille Anderson of Bakersfield, Calif.; six
grandchildren, Ginger Savage of Elk City, Randy Haggard of Elk City, Judy
Barwick of Bakersfield, Calif., Vickie Garnas of Grandada Hills, Calif.,
Kay Courtney of Arlington, Tex., and Terry Wickard of Lawton; several
great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Drayton L. (Bud)
Glasgow, one brother, Cecil Hankins and one sister, Mary Thomas.
Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Savage Funeral
Home.
