GOLD, JULIAN FRANCIS
(15 May 1919, Thursday, Southwest Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Port
Community News:
Julian Francis Matthews Gold died at her home Thursday night, May 8th. 
She was 76 years old and was one of the pioneers of the Central West.  She
had been a faithful member of the Missionary Baptist church for over 50
years.  The funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church by Y. F.
Walker, who endeavored to speak words of comfort to the sorrowing
relatives from the 15th chapter of Paul's letter to the Corinthians.  Her
body was laid to rest in the Port cemetery where it will await the call of
the Life-giver on the morning of the resurrection.
