Robert Good, the little six year old son of D. L. Good, died Thursday night at 11:30 o'clock. The little fellow had been sick for several weeks and the disease seemed to baffle the doctors. Mr. Good is one of drillers at the Rita Oil well, and had his son placed in the Hospital here, where every attention was given him. The body was prepared for burial by Grubitz & Son and shipped to Enid where it was placed beside the grave of his mother, who passed away a year ago last October. Robert and his brother, John had attended St. Mary's Institute, and the school dismissed and attended the funeral in a body also going to the depot. Rev. Geereart conducted a short service at the undertaking parlors. Many friends from Canute were present. Mr. McBride superintendent of the Rita Oil well accompanied Mr. Good and son, John to Enid. The News-Democrat wishes to extend it deepest sympathy to the bereaved father and brother, in which all our people join. ---------------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.htm
