Memorial services for Wesley C. Graham was held Saturday, February 9, 2002 at the Lompoc Elks Lodge. Private internment was at Lompoc Cemetery. Arrangements by Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Wesley Graham was born August 14, 1912 in Geary and died Wednesday, February 6, 2002, at Lompoc Hospital at the age of 89. He was raised and educated in Elk City where he was active in football, boxing and wrestling in high school. He moved to California in 1937, settling in Torrance where he operated a restaurant and barber shop and also worked in the steel mills. He returned to Elk City in 1950 where he operated a grocery store on Route 66 for 20 years before retiring and moving to Lompoc, California in 1985. He woes a life member of the Elks Lodge and a 50 year member of the Elk City Masonic Lodge. Survivors include one daughter, Anna Lee Graham of Phoenix, Arizona; one son, Bill Graham of Lompoc, California; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great great granddaughters.
