(21 Oct 1920, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DANIEL L. GROVES
Friends of Daniel L. Groves of near Carpenter were sad indeed when they
learned of the death of this noble man and good neighbor.  His death
occurred last Friday, Oct. 15, at his home ten miles north of Elk City. 
Grubitz & Son were called and had charge of the interment, which was held
at Custer on Saturday.  The deceased was aged 75 years and 4 days.  The
bereaved wife and other relatives have the sincere sympathy of all in
their sorrow.
