GUYMON, WILLIAM T.
(20 Nov 1902, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
William Guymon, a highly respected citizen, living three miles southeast
of Berlin, died at his home last Thursday morning and was buried on Friday
in the cemetery northeast of Berlin.  Deceased moved to this county from
Missouri last spring.  About two months ago he contracted a spell of
typhoid fever from which he partially recovered, but suffered a relapse,
which resulted in his death.  He leaves a wife, several children, and a
large concourse of sorrowing friends to mourn his loss.  He was an
Oddfellow.  The I.O.O.F. lodge of Elk City attended in a body and
conducted the funeral and burial services.  The afflicted family have the
sincere sympathy of the entire community.
