HAMMOND, MARY D.
(24 Nov 1921, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF PIONEER.
Word was received here Monday that Mrs. Mary A. Hammond of Hamburg,
fifteen miles west of Cheyenne, had died from an attack of heart trouble. 
The Hammond people are pioneers in Roger Mills County and are known to
many residents of Elk City.  Grubitz & Son were called to prepare the body
for burial.
The deceased leaves a husband, son, Flake Hammond, and daughter, Mrs. Pat
Wilson.
