OK GEORGIA ANN HAMPTON Posted by Joan (DeFore) Garvey for Elk City Library Elk City Paper, Beckham Co., OK April 29, 1934 GEORGIA ANN HAMPTON Final rites for Mrs. Georgia Ann Hampton, 80, Beckham county resident for more than a quarter century who died at her home at 1116 West Second Street early Saturday, will be conducted from the family residence at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The ceremony will be in charge of Rev. CALDWELL, friend of the family. Burial will be made at the Belleview community cemetery. Mrs. HAMPTON had been ailing in health for some time. A granddaughter, Miss Elsie HAMPTON who made her home with the late Mrs. HAMPTON was called home a week ago from the University of Oklahoma at Norman, when the condition of the aged woman became serious. Mrs. HAMPTON was born April 4, 1854 in Arkansas and was married in that state in 1872 to L. D. HAMPTON. She is survived by seven sons E. H. HAMPTON, who lived with his mother, and niece, and O. T. HAMPTON of LeHigh, Will HAMPTON of Illinois, Aaron HAMPTON of Idaho, C. M.
