MRS. L. C. HARNESS SUCCUMBS HERE
Funeral Will be Held in Walters Cemetery Tomorrow Afternoon.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucinda Charlotte Harness will be held in
Walters Thursday, according to information given out by the
Killough-Hullum funeral directors, who are in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Harness died here early Tuesday evening at the home of her son, W. E.
Harness, after an illness of three weeks.  Mrs. Harness' condition was not
considered serious until three days ago when the heart action became
affected.
Mrs. Harness was born July 14, 1848, in Ohio.  When a small child she
moved with her parents, to Lanar, Mo., where she grew to womanhood, was
married and reared her children.
Fifteen years ago, Mrs. Harness moved with her husband, G. W. Harness, to
Walters, where she lived until six years ago when she came here to live
with her son after the death of Mr. Harness.
Interment will be in the Walters cemetery (Walters, Cotton County, Okla.)
beside the grave of her husband.
