co, OK)
Mrs. D. H. Hawkins Dies At Home At Sayre
Funeral services for Mrs. D. H. Hawkins, pioneer Beckham county citizen,
were held Friday afternoon at Sayre.  Mrs. Hawkins was 73 years old at the
time of her death.
She was the grandmother of Miss Vesta Evans of Elk City, and the mother of
Mrs. W. C. Evans of Carter.
The funeral services were attended by Miss Evans and Miss Cobb.

Mrs. Hester Jane Hawkins died January 18.  She is survived by six sons; P.
A. Hawkins, Altus, H. B. Hawkins, Seattle, Wash.; J. C. Hawkins,
Pendleton, Ore.; Ed Hawkins, Lockney, Texas; Claude Hawkins, Sayre and Dot
Hawkins, Clovis, N.M.
Five daughters, Mrs. Belle Lee, Abilene, Texas; Mrs. Alice Thompson,
Washburn, Texas; Mrs. Rose Adams, Reed; Mrs. Ruby Martin, Sayre.
All but J. C. and H. B. Hawkins were at her bedside when she died.
