HEIM, CATHERINE
(17 Jul 1919, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Catherine Heim was born in Germany, September 5th, 1832, died at her
son's home near Grimes, Okla., July 12, 1919.  She was a devoted and
loving mother, one so appreciative of everything that had been done for
her, and in her last hours she spoke of her many friends who had been so
kind to her.
Deceased leaves to mourn her loss one daughter, Mrs. Mary Peters of Belle
Plaine, Iowa; and two sons, John Heim of Lake City, Iowa; and Herman Heim
of Grimes, Okla.
The News Democrat joins with the many friends of the relatives in offering
sympathy and condolence.
Funeral services were held on Sunday conducted by Will Klopenstein and
interment made in Rosehill cemetery.
She was a sweet christian woman, being a member of the Lutheran church
since young.  She has gone to reap the reward of the faithful.  Precious
is her memory to all who knew her.  But her loved ones sorrow not as those
who have no hope, and their loss is her gain.

GRANDMOTHER DIED
Mrs. Bill Turbyfill was called to the bedside of her grandmother, Mrs.
Heim, of the Berlin neighborhood, who passes on to the better world
Saturday night, and was buried Sunday, July 13.
