HENDRICKS, N. B.
(28 Nov 1906, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Died.  Dr. N. B. Hendricks who formerly resided in Yukon for several
years, died at the home of his brother, J. F. Hendricks, 4 mi. n.w. of
Yukon Friday.  He had been suffering from cancer for several months.  The
funeral was held at the Hendricks home Sunday Oct. 21 and the body laid to
rest in Yukon Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 21, 1850 at Lexington, Indiana and educated there,
graduating Lexington high school with honors.  He entered college at
Louisville Kentucky and finished there before he was 20 years of age.  He
joined the church at age 18.
In 1892 he married Miss Elizabeth Wilcoxson of Farmerville, Texas.  Dr.
Hendricks resided here from 1898 to 1903, leaving to take homestead in
Roger Mills county.
