March 1919) William Thomas Hill Dies of Pneumonia. William Thomas Hill was born in Illinois, Feb. 28, 1835, and died at Elk City, Okla., March 22, 1919. Age 84 years and 22 days. Funeral services were held at the residence of his son March 24 at 4 p.m. conducted by Rev. O. A. Pankey. Interment at Fairlawn cemetery. Deceased had been in poor health for several years, and his devoted wife had been very faithful in care of him, and especially during his last illness, her strength seemed to be unlimited. He was a devoted Christian, having been a member of the Baptist church for a number of years. Mr. Hill was united in marriage to Miss Asenth Boswell in Illinois in 1864. To this union were born seven children, all of whom are living, except one, who died when only a year and a half old. Those surviving are: Mrs. Tom Linville, Walter of Burkburnett, Dr. E. E. of Adair, Ill; Arthur A. of this city; Homer, who is with the Y.M.C.A. in France; and Mrs. Frank Ramsey of Leedy. All were present at the funeral except Walter and Homer. The wife of the deceased, with her two grandsons, and Dr. E. E. will go home with Mrs. Ramsey for a while. On their return, she will continue to make her home with Arthur A., that she may assist in the care of his two boys.
