DEATH OF MRS. HOLLAND
Mrs. Susan B. Holland who has been living here with her daughter, Mrs. A.
G. Carver died Saturday night after a lingering illness.  The body was
prepared for burial by Grubitz & Son and taken in their auto hearse to
Durham, (Roger Mills Co) her old home where funeral services were held on
Sunday afternoon.

GRANDMA HOLLAND DIES.
Susan Holland, known to many as "Grandma," due to her eighty-five years of
cheer and sunshine among those with whom she had made her home, died at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. G. Carver, in this city, last Sunday
morning, April 1.  Her only other child, sister of Mrs. Carver, Mrs. Viola
Shults of Crowell, Texas, was here when the end came.  Death was caused by
high blood pressure and old age.  Grandma Holland had made her home with
Co. A. G. Carver and her daughter, Mrs. Carver, for several years, moving
here from Durham last January.
Funeral services were held by Rev. Carman at the Methodist church at
Durham, where the body was laid to rest beside her husband.
