HOWARD, ANNA
(22 Aug 1907, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Anna Howard, wife of Sam Howard, died Tuesday and was buried Tuesday.
Thus it becomes our sad duty to again chronicle the death of a loving wife
and mother.  Mrs. Howard was not only loved by her husband and five small
children, who live to mourn her untimely death, but by every one who knew
her.  Her remains were interred in the Elk City cemetery Tuesday at 11
a.m., followed by a large concourse of friends and relatives and under the
auspices of the Christian church.  The Eagle Lodge turned out enmasse to
pay their last respects to the wife of one of their brothers.  The
sorrowing husband and children have the sympathy of the entire community
and may He that doeth all things well alleviate their sorrow.
