HUFF, JOHN
(20 Jan 1916, Thursday, Southwest News & Leader, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Another Pioneer Answers Roll Call.
John Huff, for many years, a resident of Elk City, died at the family home
here last Thursday at the advanced age of eighty years.  Mr. Huff was born
in Tennessee and served throughout the civil war.  He was a good citizen,
one who will be missed in the city.
He is survived by his widow and a number of grown children.
The remains were laid to rest Thursday afternoon in the Elk City cemetery.
 Funeral services were conducted by Dr. J. Whitcomb Riley.  Funeral
arrangements were in charge of Geo. R. Grubitz & Son.
