HUNT, ELIZABETH
(24 Jan 1929, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
ELIZABETH HUNT DIES IN CHEYENNE TUESDAY.
A large crowd of relatives and friends gathered at the Methodist church at
Cheyenne Wednesday at 3:00 o'clock to pay the last tribute of respect to
Mrs. Elizabeth Hunt, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. B.
Thompson, at Cheyenne, Tuesday, January 22, after an illness of many
weeks.
Mrs. Hunt was 84 years old at the time of her death.  She had lived in the
neighborhood of Cheyenne for 35 years and was well known in this section
of the country.  She was a member of the Methodist church and lived a
devoted Christian life.  Interment was made in the cemetery at Cheyenne.
Relatives who survive Mrs. Hunt are:  Mrs. A. L. Thurmond of Elk City,
Mrs. C. B. Thompson of Cheyenne, Frank Hunt of Elk City, D. N. Hunt of Elk
City, Lester Hunt of Cheyenne and Irving Hunt of Strong City.  Grubitz and
son, funeral directors, had charge of the funeral arrangements.
