M. E. HUSTED The body of Mrs. H. (sic) E. Husted was brought to Elk City Saturday accompanied by a large number of relatives. She died in Oklahoma City Friday after being ill for nine weeks. Relatives were here to meet the funeral party among them being her four sons, A. C. Husted of Pampa, Texas; E. E. Husted of Phoenix, Arizona; R. H. and E. P. Husted of Oklahoma City, also friends from Carter, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Mitchell, Mrs. B. O. Davis and M. D. Foster. The body was taken to Poarch cemetery where funeral services were held by Rev. Ellis, of Sentinel, while Grubitz & Son had charge of interment. Her husband was buried in Poarch cemetery, twenty years ago. Mrs. Husted was eighty-three years old last December. She with her husband moved to Poarch neighborhood twenty-six years ago. About five years ago she went to Oklahoma City to live with relatives.
